Influenced by people such as Michael Jackson, Troye Sivan, Dove Cameron, and Ariana Grande, Cameron Reid has become an icon for LGBTQ+ teenagers of his age and has claimed the genre of "gay pop".
Originally from Florence, South Carolina, Reid started out his career in 2015 as a child YouTuber up until 2020 (2014 - 2016 as Cameron ReidVevo & 2017 - 2020 as Cam_and_Vyond). In 2021, he began writing music for his close friend DawnRooney27 and would record demos for her, which she would release under her own profile.
In 2022, after Dawn decided to go AWAL from music, Reid started releasing his own music under his own name. On July 26, 2022, he released his debut single, "Bloodshot" as the lead single for his debut studio album, SALT, which was released on September 2, 2022. - December 20, 2024 - Cameron won four out of six nominated awards in the 2024 Dawn Medrek Inc. Awards.
- December 19, 2024 - Villain Mode was delayed further following the mental health of Cameron declining, which he later went on TikTok about.
- December 11, 2024 - Villain Mode was delayed because of file corruption.
- December 9, 2024 - Eden Graves celebrated his 16th birthday.
- December 8, 2024 - Cameron was nominated six times in the 2024 Dawn Medrek Inc. Awards with works such as "Lovin On Him, "The Boy That Liked You" and it's remix with Ghxstbunnii, along with an award for best friends that he and Diego were nominated for.
- December 8, 2024 - Cameron attacked the Benji Krol fandom again after one of the members started to come for him.
